An animal loving friend now has this big Kererū in her home. He was made just for her as a birthday present. She didn’t know she was getting it, but she was part of its creation the whole way through. 

Thinking that the Kererū was being made as a commission for someone else, Sue was sent regular pictures to make sure it was looking how it should do – right down to getting her advice on its backing and framing!

The end result is worth it though, and it’s a pleasure to see this piece hanging on the wall when I visit.
