McQuilled

Reggae is one of those genre’s of music that is so recognisable, and Bob Marley must surely be one of the most recognisable artists of the genre.

Using a Crown Lynn Palm Beach series bowl, I created an outline image of Bob, and then quilled in black and white to create his likeness. I used colours synonymous with reggae – green, red and yellow.

It really turned out well. I know this for sure, because even my Dad could recognise Bob!

Bob was snapped up so quickly, and he was held in secret for quite some time before he was gifted. Apparently Bob is a much loved addition to his home, and I couldn’t be happier.

He was popular as a Reggae artist, and he has definitely been a popular piece created by me!
